Karl Nawrot’s work includes drawing, painting, sculptural model-making, and typeface design. ‘Mind Walks’ compiles over 900 images of selected works from 2004 to 2017. Nawrot’s studio practice and commissioned works, seen together here for the first time, make a consistent aesthetic proposition. Cryptic, cave-like architectures and recurring, monotone drawings (made with his own stencils and other graphic devices) create a sense of strange, uncomfortable, wonder.
