A selection of unknown slides by legendary Japanese architect Kazuo Shinohara (1925 – 2006). Street scenes, townscapes, and monumental buildings are caught on 35mm film for the purpose of recording details, unusual perspectives, and sometimes mere oddities. The snapshots feature Shinohara’s five significant overseas journeys between 1972 and 1985.
